How to apply and e-visa costs

If you are a Salomon Islands citizen, you have the right to apply for eTA Canada. Just sit down, relax and enter our website.

You will be asked to provide the basic pieces of information in the blank fields. Make sure you provide correct information, otherwise, the time of processing your eTA can take longer.

Then, of course, it will be necessary to provide your passport details. When you fill the application form, you will be redirected to the payment method.

eTA will cost you 49 Euros only and this is the price for every citizen of the countries eligible for eTA application.

You can pay for your permission by credit or a debit card, but we accept as well other forms of payment, like PayPal for instance.

After the whole process will finish, we will send an email with the confirmation of your application with a special number. You can use it to check your visa status.

Normally, eTA is granted in 72 hours, however very often the time of processing is 2 -3 hours.

After you will receive your visa, you don’t need to print anything, just show your passport to the border officer after you will land.

Requirements for Salomon Islands citizens

When you already decided to apply for e-visa, check first if you meet the requirements necessary to apply for eTA.

As a citizen of Salomon Islands, you have the right to apply for eTA, however, you cannot be punished beforehand for any serious crimes or abuses.

If you were, you will not be able to enter the Canadian territory.

The second important thing is to possess a valid passport, which should be biometrical.

This means that your document has to have in the electronic chip, which allows the border officer to read the eTA from your passport. The documents are connected with each other, that’s why when your passport will expire or you will lose your passport, you will need to apply for another eTA.

Also, before you will apply, make sure, that your passport validity is at least half a year from the date of the planning activity of your visa.

It is worth remembering that all the citizens under 18 years of age also must apply for eTA.

Your electronic permission is valid for 5 years. During this time you can enter Canada multiple times, but your stay cannot be longer than 6 months at a time.
